Summer Art Camp

Students will satisfy their curiosity for traditional arts as we move through the week with a major project of their choosing. Each day's progression students will discover valuable knowledge to complete their sculpture, oil painting, or drawing. Lessons will include but are not limited to: Color theory, art terms, value drawing, portraiture, and optional life drawing. This goal of camp is for students to develop an eye for seeing and a passion for creating.
Each week begins with brainstorming for: Oil paint 16 x 20 stretched canvas, armature and Sculpey, Drawing with charcoal, graphite, or pencil on toned paper! Kids learn to conceptualize ideas, research, design, and complete their project for our Friday Art Show at 12pm.
