Students will make their own creation and sculpt for the first three hours. Then we will mold using food safe, platinum silicone and soap pour into our molds. Includes supplies: sculpting clay, mold, and a soap w/scent and color. Open to all levels, ages 10 years +
Tuition $275 | This workshop is specifically for artists who want to explore animal portraits with more realism and a splash of color or mark making. We are taking reservations for minimum enrollment after which you will receive a purchase request for tuition.
Luke will introduce how to create for a 3D printer and design for sublimation stickers, a mug, or coaster. Students will spend the first part of the class creating a drawing or use they can reformat their existing artwork to fit the form. Need help drawing something...Luke brings out the best in students.
Sculpture will enhance the artist’s understanding of rendering form, using shape, space, line, texture, and edges. Everyone will do an animal of their choosing to design, build, and sculpt into their own creation. This class uses roma plastilina (oil based clay). Great portfolio piece! Spend the next two Saturdays creating a low relief sculpture, also known as a bas-relief. This type of relief sculpture is where the figures and objects project only slightly from the background surface. This creates a shallow depth effect, making the sculpture appear almost two-dimensional. It's commonly used for decorative purposes on walls and other surfaces, allowing for intricate details without the need for significant depth. Supplies are included. The Art Studio hosts a biannual Fall/Winter Showcase from our community of artists. All art is available for sale and makes great gifts. The public is welcome during hours of operation, through Dec 16th.
