Animal Portrait

We will play with the elements of art to push our creativity. Students will learn how to translate the 2D shapes into 3D form to unlock the realistic interpretation. We will explore a variety of compositions, value keys, and mark making techniques to unlock your style. After two days of exploration, students will choose a direction and color harmony will begin the four days of painting. Students have the option to continue the animal sketches, begin a formal portrait drawing, or make an oil painting portrait.
