Introduction to Python Coding Using Blender’s 3d Animation Tools
Five Sundays: July 13, 20, August 3, 10, and 17, 2025 (no class 7/27)
This unique workshop teaches the fundamental concepts of Python programming with a fun twist. The students will write code to create and manipulate geometry in the 3D world of Blender! The concepts covered in this class are the same as in traditional programming classes but the 3D Animation of Blender will add excitement to the students’ journey into coding. Blender is a free software so all students will have easy access to it. But it is also very powerful and was used extensively in the 2024 Oscar winning animated feature "Flow".

Students have the option to work in acrylic and/or oil paint mediums.

This beginning portrait workshop will introduce students to the wonderful world of drawing and painting people. Matteo will do this through drawing first and understanding the fundamentals of creating a 3Dimensional illusion through the use of shape, value, and edges.
